Tirzah's New "Do

Here's a semi-recent picture of Tirzah's cute haircut. It's a bit longer now, but looks very nice. She looks a lot older with it like this.

Bed Head

Kynan woke up from a nap with this super sweet hairdo. He was very grouchy at first, then he got really excited that we were smiling and laughing at him, so he started jumping and acting crazy. He gave me lots of great facial expressions. Classic.

Sludge Lover

Kynan discovered Aaron's "empty" coffee cup one morning. It still had the coffee sludge in the bottome, so he drank it. This was the result.

Gag Reel

I finally got these pictures up. I laugh every time I look at them. Kynan was overdue for a nap, and Tirzah was very (obviously) irritated.

Kynan's First Sentence

Kynan said his first sentence on Friday. We were getting ready for bed, and I was trying to get him to go upstairs. I said, "Up you go!" He replied, "Up I go!" It was very exciting.

Oh Yeah...

I just decided to add a few cute stories, since I have no pics to share. Tirzah is acting a bit like a teenager lately (don't adolescents and pre-schoolers go through a similar mental transition?). The other night, Kynan was blabbering away in his crib (they share a room). I went in to do the "sniff" (i.e. check for a poopy diaper), and Tirzah said, "Mom, see, this is why I want my own room, by myself, when we go to Oregon. Kynan always does this! He always keeps me awake!" He mannerisms and facial expressions looked like a teenager, but her peanut 4-year-old voice was saying all this. Needless to say, I laughed.

An update on Kynan: he's talking a LOT. He is obsessed with his toy basketball hoop. His word for "basketball" is "backetbawl," and now his word for "football" is "footketbawl." Cute!

That's all for now!

Explanation

I know it has been a long time since I updated. Life has been really busy, but I do hope to have some new pictures up soon. Check back in a week, and I should have something new to say!
