Fall Pictures of the Kids

I took these pics at the beginning of the month. I forgot how amazing autumn is in the Northwest. The colors just last for months. This was a rare, sunny day in early November. And the kids were very cooperative! I always love that!

A Weekend in Seattle

We visited Seattle last weekend. We got to see our now one-month-old niece, Elsie, and Aaron's parents were there as well. We took the kids to see the Fremont Troll, and we also visited the Woodland Park Zoo. It was a fun weekend!

We have a new niece! She was born on September 13! I got to be there for the last hour of the birth, and her Mama, Lauren Walker, did wonderfully! Here are her newbie pics.

Kynan's Lady Shoes

So these are also on my facebook for those of you who are my "friends." But I decided I'd better double-post for those who don't do the facebook thing. So, Kynan loves to wear Tirzah's dress-up heels. I told him "Those are girl shoes." His response: "They not girl shoes, they STAR shoes!" Hmmm......

At the Schmidts'

We went out to the country last weekend to celebrate the birthday of our friend, David Schmidt. They are a wonderful, very fun family. They also happen to have a bunch of pet farm animals. There are two goats, a mini chicken, a goose, and a bunch of ducks that you can catch and pet. The goose and the goats don't really require "catching" though, because they are so tame. I just had to include pictures of this! It was soo much fun!

Sewing Again

In the beginning of August we went to Seattle and saw a bunch of family and friends for Lauren's baby shower. She's due at the end of September. We toured Seattle a bit with Aaron's family, and it was a great time. I just thought I would include a few pics from our weekend.
